I’ve been frequenting this establishment for over a decade. The food, service, and atmosphere is always superb! I always eat at the bar and am taken care of by Haylie 90% of the time. She’s always attentive and makes sure I have a great experience. The quality of the filet and lobster is always top notch. I’ve only tried one other thing there in 10 years, once. If you’re looking for a high quality place to enjoy a nice meal, check them out. You won’t be disappointed.

Great food tonight. However our server Jaylen I believe his name was, was outstanding. He was attentive, went the extra steps, made us laugh, our drinks never went empty. Hard working young man. You made the experience what it was. Tremendous customer service. Thanks team!

Great place for a steak. I got the shrimp this time but get the steak for sure. Great cuts and cooked properly.

Hands down the best service we have had in a long time. Each time we have gone out for our date night, it’s been a great experience. The food was amazing per usual. Their summer drink special had really good choices. I had the spiked strawberry lemonade. Our steak was cooked perfectly. Our waitress, Vanessa aka Bubbles, hands down one of my favorite human beings. She was attentive, friendly, with a contagious personality and knew exactly what we wanted. She was helpful in setting up our food to take home. We will definitely be asking for her again when we visit next. I highly recommend the mozzarella sticks. Probably the best I’ve tasted. Sometimes our eyes are bigger than our stomachs, but it makes for great leftovers!

This place was definitely different but not for the Food, but for just 1 Person. 1 minute before I was ready to leave, after waiting almost 20min for someone to get my order, I met Vanessa. The Ribeye was excellent. Very nice wood flavor. They hit the temperature to perfection. The quality was Prime. Didn't have much marbling and had some string fats almost unchewable, but that is no ones fault. Place was cleaned. Staff seemed nice. Very countryside atmosphere. But now the 5 stars is because of Vanessa. She is one of the nicest person you will ever meet. She has the charisma of angel. She really cares and tries to take care of you. She knows her Menu really good and knows how to explained them in a way that she would sell you the whole cow if they had it on Sale. She not only made the difference between me staying and giving a 1 Star Review, to leaving the place just wondering when I can come back and have a nice laugh with Mrs Vanessa. She is amazing! Thank you for taking the time to help me.

We visited this restaurant for the 1st time on 6/21/24 and we not only had a great time with delicious food served but we had exceptional service from our waitress Alyssa and those who assisted her with drinks and such. Steaks that are wood fired & grilled sure have such an amazing flavor and aroma. The drink menu was fantastic with the 24K margaritas on the rocks to the Moscow Mule and more. They accommodated several virgin margaritas as well. We loved the fresh salad along with the warm rolls w/cinnamon butter that came with several of our meals. We must note that Alyssa made the experience for this visit over the top & determined for us even though an hour away from Youngstown where we live a return visit will be on the calendar soon. She was helpful, friendly & exceptional kind for our entire experience.

We ate at this Brown Derby on Wednesday 11/27/24 at 7 PM (day before Thanksgiving). Both the food quality and service were EXCELLENT, with reasonable pricing. We made reservations (party of 3) earlier on the same day. We arrived at 7 PM and were immediately seated. Our server was at the table in less than 5 min, warmly greeted us, talked about specials, and took drink orders. Menu was uncomplicated and well laid out with a variety of options and pricing. Others in my party had wine and soft drinks. I had the “large” beer. They weren’t kidding. It was HUGE (Great Lakes lager, very good). One beer lasted the visit. Drinks arrived at the table about 5 min after ordering. We then ordered both appetizers and meals. Appetizers (with fresh rolls) arrived in less than 10 min. I had the French Onion soup and our table the house salad. The soup was OUTSTANDING - perfectly done. Salad was served in a large bowl, plenty for all, and EXCELLENT. Salad plates were pre-chilled. Dressing was excellent. Rolls were served warm and also EXCELLENT. We had just finished appetizers when the food arrived, very HOT. I had the 16 oz ribeye, medium rare, served butter finished, with the loaded baked potato. The steak was well cut, wood fire grilled (you could taste the flavor) and cooked right. The potato had all the fixings, including real crisp bacon bits. Very flavorful. One in my party had the T-Bone, also medium rare, with rice pilaf. Another in my party had the smaller filet, medium, with baked potato and mushrooms. Meals were served with two sides (one of which was the salad). All of us agreed the steaks were VERY GOOD. For me, the steaks were slightly thin (I like thicker) and a little more done than expected (not unusual). Regardless, the beef quality was VERY GOOD and delicious. Keeping with its name the Brown Derby was mostly “brown” inside the restaurant. Lighting was low, seating was booths and tables. The kitchen area and grill were visible from dining. A bar was set opposite to dining. Comfortable seating for 50 to 75. Service was EXCELLENT. Our server routinely checked on us, drinks were NEVER empty, she was both friendly and personable. The restaurant service “work flow” was obviously well planned with NO delays. During our visit, they were at about 50% capacity. Overall, an EXCELLENT dining experience. Appetizers, meals and drinks for 3 totaled 148 without tip, reasonable for the food quality and portions. I’d recommend the Brown Derby in Streetsboro for family and couples dining. A
